Building Questions

Where is 1000 Broadway located?

1000 Broadway is located at the intersection of Broadway and 11th Street in downtown Oakland.  To see more of what's nearby click here.

What is the closest mass transit?

1000 Broadway is easily accessible by mass transit. The building is across the street from the 12th Street/City Center BART station. There is also an AC Transit bus stop in front of the building. A bus stop for the free B Shuttle (on Broadway, from West Grand to Jack London Square) is also nearby. 

Is parking available?

Yes, 1000 Broadway features a two-level parking garage with a total of 360 stalls. The garage is open weekdays beginning at 6am. The entrance is located along 11th Street.

Is 1000 Broadway a “green” building?

1000 Broadway is deeply committed to sustainability and energy reduction. Our building consistently participates in Bay Area energy reduction drives such as PG&E’s Demand Response Program and Spare the Air. With the help of our tenants, 1000 Broadway has achieved 97% efficiency rating from Energy Star. We are dedicated to decreasing our landfill impact through building waste audits and annual e-waste drives. We separate, recycle, and compost all building trash and encourage all tenant efforts to do the same.

What types of amenities are located in the area?

1000 Broadway is in an ideal location, close to a wide variety of restaurants, shopping, meeting facilities and hotels. It is across the street from Oakland City Center and conveniently located to Oakland's bustling Chinatown District, historic Old Oakland, Jack London Square, Uptown Oakland and scenic Lake Merritt.

Is 1000 Broadway a part of a community organization?

1000 Broadway is a proud member of the Oakland Metropolitan Chamber of Commerce as well as the Oakland Chinatown Chamber of Commerce. In addition, we are an accredited business with an A+ rating as determined by the Better Business Bureau.

Yes, 1000 Broadway is a member of the Downtown Oakland Association (CBD). The Downtown Oakland Association fosters an environment where businesses thrive, art flourishes, and residents and visitors alike can enjoy all that downtown Oakland has to offer. The organization is working to revitalize a 19-block area in the heart of Oakland, California by providing special benefit services such as district maintenance, safety and security management, and community and cultural enrichment. The District was formed following a vote of property owners in 2009 to support a voluntary property tax to fund these additional services over the next 10 years.

Tours of 1000 Broadway are available by appointment only.

Tenant Questions

What are the building hours?

1000 Broadway is open Monday through Friday from 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. except legal Holidays, including but not limited to Memorial Day, 4th of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day and New Year's Day.

How do I place a work request?

1000 Broadway is a full-service office building. We provide nightly cleaning services within the suites, change lights, and cut keys on behalf of our tenants.

Work requests can be placed online through Building Engines or by calling the Management Office, 510-839-7651, during normal business hours

I have a vendor coming to the building.  What is the procedure?

You will need to contact the management office to confirm that your vendor has the proper insurance on file.  The Management will e-mail the insurance requirements if needed.  

Once vendor insurance is on file, you will need to submit a Vendor Access Form to Building Management. After the vendor insurance and access form have been submitted and approved, Security will be notified and your vendor will be granted building access.

Is there meeting space available?

1000 Broadway offers two boardroom-style conference rooms for tenant use. For seating space and prices, please contact Building Management. Reservations can be made through Building Engines.
